Petrochemical Manufacturer

Dixon Environmental has provided numerous chemical, pharmaceutical, and refinery clients with careful and thorough third-party assessments of their environmental compliance status. A detailed multimedia, or media specific, review may be preformed. Dixon Environmental provided a petrochemical manufacturer with a comprehensive and detailed review of their Title V and related permit conditions. A Dixon Environmental staff engineer reported to the site daily in-order to cross-check each permit condition and the associated compliance method(s) with actual facility practices. Compliance status was determined and possible weaknesses in the facility compliance program were identified. Dixon Environmental applied a broad range of experience with chemical industry and Title V permit requirements to eliminate inappropriate or no-longer applicable conditions, and incorporate options for operating flexibility during the Title V renewal. The deliverable for this project was an optimized Title V permit renewal application and a clear action plan of compliance priorities in order to minimize risks associated with non-compliance.

Dixon Environmental assists clients with managing compliance risks by:

  • Applying regulatory expertise and experience with a broad array of industry permit requirements and practices to our client's compliance program,
  • Tailoring the breadth and depth of assessment projects to meet client needs, objectives, and budget,
  • Identifying areas possibly leading to non-compliance and detailing an action plan based on priority items that pose the greatest risk of enforcement action, and
  • Providing the solutions necessary to minimize risk.
