Dixon Environmental provided a batch manufacturer of organic chemicals with a MON rule preliminary applicability assessment and impact evaluation.  Dixon Environmental’s assessment provided the facility with a site-specific overview of MON compliance requirements and outlined a compliance strategy, including recommended action items and a proposed timeline.  In addition, while on-site Dixon Environmental conducted a workshop to introduce environmental, operations, and process personnel to the MON rule.  The workshop enabled plant personnel to become familiar with relevant and important rule provisions, and provided a consistent foundation for future data collection and reporting activities.  Dixon Environmental’s expertise with the MON rule enabled our client to award us the contract to update the report based on the final MON rule published November 10, 2003, and provide more detailed data collection, recommendation, and MON compliance support.
